HOUSTON — Rice returns home for two games, beginning next Thursday, Jan. 24, when it hosts Middle Tennessee. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT and the game will be livestreamed by CUSAtv.
Scouting Rice
• Rice is 7-12 overall and 2-4 in Conference USA. The Owls are looking to snap a three-game losing streak after falling at North Texas, 76-75, last Saturday.
• Rice has four players averaging double-figures, led by junior forward Robert Martin with 12.5 points. He is connecting on 48.6% from the field and a team-high 43.3% from three, which is fifth in Conference USA. He's also second on the team with 6.1 rebounds per game.
• Freshman guard Chris Mullins with 12.5 points. He also leads the team in steals with 1.4 per game.
• Junior guard Ako Adams is third on the team with 11.8 points per game. He is connecting on 38.7% from three while leading the team with 2.9 assists per game. He also leads Conference USA in free throw percentage, connecting on 90.4% from the line.
• Graduate student Jack Williams is scoring 10.6 points while leading the squad with 8.1 rebounds, which is fifth in the league.
• The Owls are scoring 75.3 points but are allowing 79.2.
• Rice is connecting on 43.4% from the field and 34.0% from three while allowing 46.3% from the floor and 35.2% from three.
• The Owls are outrebounding their opponents, 36.8-to-36.4.

• Middle Tennessee enters the game with a 5-14 record overall and 2-4 in Conference USA. However, the Blue Raiders are on a two-game winning streak after sweeping last week's homestand against UTSA and UTEP.
• MT is led by redshirt junior guard Antonio Green with 18.5 points, which is sixth in C-USA. He is also third in the league in free throw percentage (.869) and three-pointers made per game (2.9) and 10th in minutes played (34.2).
• Junior forward Reggie Scurry is the only other player in double-figures, averaging 10.0 points while placing sixth in the league in field goal percentage (.563).
• Sophomore guard Donovan Sims is averaging 9.9 points while senior forward Karl Gamble leads the team with 6.6 rebounds.
• The Blue Raiders are scoring just 66.7 points per game while allowing 5.8.
