
Haet and Huang Split All-American Matches

Michaela Haet and Linda Huang each picked up an opening win before falling in the second round of the pre-qualifying singles round of the Riviera ITA Women's All-American Championships in Malibu, California on Saturday.
Haet downed Sadie Hammond of Tennessee, 6-0, 6-3 before falling to Arizona's Emma Wilson, 6-3, 6-0. Haung opened with a 6-2 7-6 (4) win over George Washington's Maria Siopacha, then fell to Martina Capurro Taborda of Oklahoma, 7-6 (4) 6-2.
Haet and Huang opened play by being edged by host Pepperdine's Jessica Failla and Anastasia Iamachkine 8-6 in their prequal doubles match. They will face Illinois Emilee Duong and Asuka Kawai in a back draw doubles match on Sunday.
