Men's Basketball Hosts Omaha in Non-Conference Finale

HOUSTON — Rice closes the non-conference portion of its schedule when it hosts Omaha on Friday, Dec. 21. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT and the game will be livestreamed by CUSAtv.
Scouting Rice
• Rice is 5-7 after defeating UTRGV on Tuesday, 75-67.
• Rice has four players averaging at least 9.7 points led by freshman guard Chris Mullins with 12.8 points. He also leads the team in steals (1.4) and three-point field goal percentage, connecting on 44.4% from beyond the arc.
• Junior Guard Ako Adams is second on the team with 11.8 points per game. The junior is connecting on 38.5% from three while leading the team with 3.0 assists per game. He also leads Conference USA in free throw percentage, connecting on 91.4% from the line.
