Varsha Shiva Shankar and Becca Lin lost in the doubles semifinals 8-5 against Duncan/Alexander of TCU
Coach Elizabeth Schmidt had this to say: "This was a good tournament to begin our year with. Our players have been working very hard in practice and in the weight room, so I know they enjoyed translating that hard work into competition. Varsha and Becca had a very solid effort in reaching the semifinals of doubles and I was pleased with the way the team competed as a whole. We are looking forward to playing on our home courts next weekend."
