Owls Single Game Tickets On Sale Today

Single-game tickets for each of the 29 games of the Rice Owls' 2008 home baseball season will go on sale both on-line and through the Rice Athletics Ticket Office today, starting at 8:30 am.
Orders can be made by visiting our on-line sales option, by calling 713-522-OWLS (6957) or in person at the Owls Ticket office, located on the concourse of Rice Stadium, under the R Room.
Prices for single-game tickets start as low as $7 for adults and $5 for youths for general admission tickets. Single-game reserved seats start at $10 for adults and $7 for youths. Five games on the 2008 schedule have been designated as Premium games (Houston 2/27, 5/9, 5/10, 5/11; vs. Texas 3/11) with special ticket prices (see chart below). There is a limit of six tickets per game on each single-game order.

At the same time, tickets for the expanded hill section beyond the left field fence will go on sale for the five premium games. Tickets for hill section for these games are $8 for adults and $6 for youths. When ordering the hill tickets please specify you would like to sit on the hill, since they are the same price as general admission.
The Owls are also offering a new Flex Plan option which allows fans to purchase a book of 15 general admission tickets at the Owls group plan rate ($5 per game for adults, $3 a game for youths). These tickets are redeemable at any of the Owls other than those designated as premium games.
Owl fans will also be able to book group outings for selected games at discounted rates for selected games (see below). For more information on booking a group outing to a Rice home game, please call the (713) 533-OWLS (6957).

Season tickets for the 2008 Owls season will be mailed to account holders on Tuesday. Individual game orders will be mailed as they are processed.
The Owls will open their 2008 season next weekend when they travel west to meet Long Beach State in a three-game series. The 2008 home opener is slated for Tuesday, February 26 when they host Texas A&M Corpus Christi, with first pitch set for 4:00 p.m.
