DALLAS -- For an outstanding series of games, highlighted by four home runs in three games, Rice freshman Adam Zornes was named one of the Conference USA hitters of the week for Apr. 17, the C-USA office announced from its headquarters in Dallas on Monday.
Zornes batted a composite .700 with four home runs to help the Owls go undefeated in a weekend sweep of C-USA foe Memphis on the road.
