MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Rice's top seeded duo of senior Robert Searle and junior Ben Harknett were upset in the Open A doubles semifinals of the Crimson Tide Fall Tournament on Saturday in Montgomery, Ala.
The Owls' duo was knocked out of the tournament after an 8-1 loss to fourth-seeded Sam Chang and Jonathas Sucupira of Florida State.
Rice returns to action Sept. 23-25 in Austin at the Texas Invitational.
