Searle, Harknett Advance To Quarterfinals at Crimson Tide Tournament

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Senior Robert Searle and junior Ben Harknett advanced to the Open A quarterfinals at the Crimson Tide Fall Tournament Friday in Montgomery, Ala.
Searle, the top seed in the tournament and ranked 24th nationally, blasted Samford's Seo-Jae Chang 6-3, 6-0. The Owl then rallied to defeat Dias Doskaravev 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (4).
Harknett swept through his opponents Friday, defeating Arizona's Daniel Andrus 7-5, 6-2, then beating Stuart Misner 6-3, 6-2.
Senior Tony Haerle held off UAB's Sebastian Falk 6-2, 2-6, 1-0 (5) in the opening round, but suffered a 6-4, 7-5 to Zack Rath of Georgia Tech.
