Isa Ortman joined the Rice University Sports Medicine Department in 2024. She is responsible for managing the health care of the men's and women's cross country teams and men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field teams. Isa is also responsible for the nutrition center for student athletes.
Ortman graduated from the University of Providence, Great Falls where she earned a degree in exercise science. She received her master’s degree in athletic training from the University of Montana where she worked with D1, D3, and high school athletes. Isa also had the opportunity to work with the NAIA collegiate athletes at Oregon Institute of Technology.
Her professional interests include manual/corrective therapies, along with student-athlete mental health.
Isa is currently a member of NATA, NWATA, and OATS. Isa Ortman resides with her best friend Shawnae and dog Tank in Houston, TX.

Clinical Specialties/Interests: Graston M1 certified and interested in dry needling and postural restoration.
