An athletic, quick and hard-nosed defender... Tireless worker who plays with tremendous personality... Great fit for the Rice program... 2009: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Rice University Honor Athlete; Played in 13 of the team[apos]s 19 games, working her way into eight starts on defense as a true freshman... Sidelined with a nagging injury the final two weeks of the season... Made her Division I debut with 15 minutes on opening day against Baylor... More than doubled her playing time in her next outing with 40 minutes on the road at eventual NCAA Tournament foe UW-Milwaukee... Played 68 minutes in the next contest, a win at Stephen F. Austin, and was named a starter on the back line for each of the next eight games... Averaged 77 minutes per start and played 80-or-more minutes five times... Longest outing was all 90 minutes at SMU, where she was also credited with her first career shot... Part of the Rice back line that held C-USA foe Marshall to just eight shots and UTSA to just two shots on-goal. Club
Played Louisiana ODP (2004-08) and Mississippi ODP (2003-04)... Center-back for the Baton Rouge Soccer Club under head coach Melissa Ramsey... Helped lead club to the state runner-up in 2007-08... Was selected to play for a Baton Rouge all-star team that won the silver medal at the Gothia Cup in Sweden. High School
