Indoor: Competed 10 times during the indoor season and finished within the top ten every single time...took a third and fifth place finishes in the weight throw and shot put at the Leonard Hilton Invitational...second and fifth in the shot put and weight throw at the Houston Invitational...earned the first win of his season in the weight throw at the Howie Ryan Invitational with a throw of 18.93m...the senior's indoor season culminated with a C-USA title in the shot put off of a throw of 17.11m and a second place in the weight throw after throwing 19.93m. Outdoor: In his outdoor season, competed in three different disciplines and advanced all the way to the NCAA West Prelims...started his season with a pair of wins at the Cougar Spring Break Invitational in the shot put, 16.82m, and the hammer throw, 60.70m...finished second and third at the Victor Lopez Classic...took second in the hammer throw at the Houston Alumni Invitational with a throw of 60.93m, third in the shot put, 16.84m, and sixth place in the discus throw, 47.82m.
2016-17
Indoor: Finished in third at the Houston Alumni Invitational after a weight throw of 18.84m...at the Howie Ryan Invitational, earned a third place finish in the shot put after a mark of 16.38m...earned All-Conference honors in the weight throw competition after finishing third at the C-USA Indoor Championships and setting a new career best with a 19.64m throw. Outdoor: Finished second at the Cougar Spring Break Invitational after having a hammer throw of 61.03m...set a career best in the hammer throw after marking 61.90m at the Texas Invitational...finished fourth at the C-USA Outdoor Championships with a hammer throw of 61.60m, earning himself a place in the NCAA Division 1 West Preliminary Round.
2015-16
Indoor: Placed sixth in the shot put and seventh in the weight throw at the C-USA Indoor Championships. Outdoor: Earned C-USA All-Conference honors with a third place finish at the C-USA Championships in the hammer throw...also placed second in the hammer throw at both the J. Fred Duckett Twilight and the Tom Tellez Invitational.
2014-15
Indoor: Placed 6th in the shot put (14.33m) at the Aggie Invitational...7th in weight throw at Houston Tune Up. Outdoor: Threw a season-best 51.29 in the hammer to place 3rd at the UTEP Invitational...also finished 4th in the shot put and discus at the UTEP Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from and threwat McKinney North HS for head coach Melvin Crosby ... varsity starter three years ... senior stats of 170'3" in the discus and 52'3" in the shot put ... also played football for three years on varsity for head coach Mike Fecci ... was an all-district offensive lineman and part of a team that was district and bi-district champions.
