Picked up first career sack and matched his season high in solo tackles with four vs. UTEP... Enjoyed his most productive day since his move to DE, finishing with six tackles, two for loss and recovering a fumble vs. FAU.
2012
Academic All-Conference USA and CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District team for Region 7 with a 3.65 GPA in Mathematical Economic Analysis... Battled back from an early-season injury to return to the rotation at defensive end... Credited with three tackles in the opener vs. UCLA in his debut at defensive end after making the transition from safety in fall camp... Injured early in the Kansas game, but returned to action by UTSA... Credited with tackles vs. Tulsa and Southern Miss.

Credited with three assists vs. UTEP ... Matched his career-high with eight tackles vs. Tulsa, while also being credited with his first career PBU and fumble recovery... Credited with a three tackles in the opener at Texas and matched it the following week vs. Purdue.

Redshirt freshman walk-on who battled back from an injury in fall training camp to become a productive member of the kickoff coverage squad... Tied for second with eight tackles on kickoff coverage, despite only playing only the last seven games... Made tackles in each of the last five games, including a pair in each of the last three... Completed his recovery from a training camp injury to make his debut on special teams vs. UTEP... Credited with his first tackle on kickoff coverage vs. UCF.

Unanimous All-District 17-5A selection as well as the all-purpose defensive MVP as a senior for Donald Clayton at Katy Cinco Ranch HS...
