Opened the scoring in the C-USA Championship game, catching a 35-yard touchdown from Luke Turner... Caught four for 42 yards vs. Tulane... Grabbed a career-best six at UNT for a season-best 52 yards... Caught a 40-yarder vs. UTEP for his longest catch of the season... Caught four in the opener vs. Texas A&M, his third consecutive game with four catches.
2012
Enjoyed his most productive campaign to date, reaching career-highs with 26 catches, 326 yards receiving and four touchdowns... Closed the regular season with back-to-back games with four catches... Hauled in a career-long 43-yard scoring pass from Taylor McHargue vs. Marshall... Caught a 38-yard scoring strike from Luke Turner vs. UTSA... Scored his first rushing touchdown vs. Southern Miss on a reverse and added a 25-yard scoring pass from Driphus Jackson... Converted all six of his third-down receptions for first downs... Chipped in four kick returns for 73 yards, including a long of 21 at Kansas.
2011
Reached the end zone for the first time in his career in the season finale, a 13-yard connection with Nick Fanuzzi to score the Owls[apos] first points of the day... Caught one pass for nine yards vs. Tulane... Returned to action vs. UTEP after missing the previous two games with an injury... Made his 11th career start and seventh straight this year vs. Marshall... Has at least one catch in six of seven games this year... Saw his streak of games with a reception end, but provided the key block on Sam McGuffie[apos]s go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter... Caught three passes for 23 yards in the home opener vs. Purdue.
2010
Speedster who moved into the receiving rotation as a redshirt freshman... Finished fifth on the team with 16 receptions, 15 of them in a four-game stretch in the middle of the season... Missed the Houston & UCF games with an injury and battle nagging effects for the rest of the year... Established a career-high with five catches for 42 yards at UTEP... Caught four (for 34 yards) against SMU... Made his first career start against Northwestern and responded with a career-best four catches for 66 yards, including a 32-yarder... Made his debut against Texas and picked up his first career reception.
OTHER RICE SPORTS: Anchored the Owls[apos] 4x400 relay which placed second at the C-USA Championships and qualified for the NCAA West Regional.
2009
Redshirted during football... Ran track for the Owls and qualified for the NCAA West Regional in the 400 meter ... was the last qualifier, but finished 35th out of 47 with a time of
47.71... finished fourth at the C-USA outdoor with a season-best of 47.50.
Manor High School
All-District 17-4A selection as an athlete and second-team pick as a wide receiver for Coach Eric Carter ... Two-time medalist at the state track meet as a senior, finished second in the 100 (10.63) and came back a short time later to finish third in the 400 meters (47.38)...also finished fifth in the 200 (21.54)... Ranked in the top 10 percent of his class all four years ... Academic all-district selection.
