Entered his senior year as one of the Owls most experienced
linebackers, but saw his season come to a sudden end in the
opener at UAB.
2009
Made his 12th career start in the opener at UAB, but suffered a season-ending knee injury in the first half.
2008
Played 11 of 13 games and made seven starts ... moved into
the starting lineup at Vanderbilt after Brian Raines and Vernon James were injured at Memphis ... was credited with
seven tackles in his initial start ... tied his career-high with
eight tackles vs. Tulsa ... all three of his tackles vs. Southern
Miss were for loss, including a sack for a loss of 10 yards ...
picked off his first career pass vs. Tulane ... credited with two
tackles and a pair of pass breakups vs. UTEP ... injured in his
seventh start of the year (Army) and missed the Marshall
game before returning as a reserve vs. Houston.
2007
Saw action in 10 games, including four starts ... picked up 19
of his 31 tackles in his four starts, highlighted by a career-best
eight stops at Southern Miss, including one for a loss
of five yards ... followed that up with seven tackles against
Houston, including a pair of tackles for loss ... recorded six
tackles at Baylor, including his first career tackle for loss and
a pass break up ... made his first career start against Texas
Tech and was credited with a pair of assists.
2006
Found himself in the mix for playing time from the start of
the year ... top tackle effort came against Florida State, when
he was credited with three tackles ... followed that up with a
pair of tackles in the Owls[apos] first win of the year over Army.

7-5A running back for coach Dan Schreiber ... gained
829 yards, scored 13 touchdowns as a senior and gained
more than 1,200 yards on the ground during his high school
career ... helped the Panthers to a 6-4 record as a senior ...
