Timothy McConnell joined the Owls staff in 2019 as a special teams graduate assistant.
He joined the Owls after spending one season at Villanova as an assistant coach where he worked with the cornerbacks in addition to serving as the special teams quality control coach.
McConnell graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in December of 2017 with a degree in Communications Studies where he also was a member of the football team as a defensive back and long snapper. The Dukes won a pair of NEC championships during his career. He began his coaching career at Duquesne after graduation, assisting with the defensive backs.
