2012
Another Owl who saw time on both sides of the ball in 2012... Opened the year on special teams and as a reserve running back... Had one carry for two yards vs. UCLA in the opener... Made the move to back to defense (played safety at Tyler JC in 2011) due to injuries... Saw action at both safety and linebacker and picked up a tackle at UTEP.
2011
Played defensive back at Tyler JC... Was credited with 61 tackles, including three for loss, broke up one pass and intercepted a second.
2009

All-State selection as a senior for Coach Jack Alvarez at Kirbyville while leading the 13-1 Wildcats to a berth in the 2A Division 1 title game vs. Muleshoe... Wildcats were ranked #1 in the state during the season... Finalist for the Willie Ray Smith Award, presented to the top offensive and defensive players of the year in the Golden Triangle... Finished the year with 69 tackles and a pair of interceptions... All-District 22-2A on both offense and defense as a junior ... Regional qualifier on the Wildcats 4x100 and 4x200 relays as a junior... also a regional qualifier in powerlifting... Named Mr. KHS and was President of the school[apos]s chapter of FCA.
