Indoor: Earned all-conference honors with a second place (5.04m/16-6.5) finish in the pole vault at the C-USA Championships...also finished fourth in the pole vault at the H-Town SpeedCity Series.
2019-20
Indoor: Competed at six meets...earned valuable points for the Owls with a fourth place finish in the pole vault at the C-USA Championships...set a season-best mark by clearing 5.20m at the Houston G5-Super 22 Invite, finishing third overall...also placed third in the pole vault at the FasTrak Collegiate Invite.
2018-19
Indoor: Debuted in the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational with a fourth place finish at 15’7”…Notched a personal best 16’2.75” at the Music City Challenge in ninth place. Outdoor: Took fourth place with a personal best 16’7.25”at the C-USA Championships…Placed second at the Houston Alumni Invitational at 15’5”….Finished third at the Tom Tellez Invitational at 16’2.75”….Debuted in the 100m at the Victor Lopez Classic in 11.05, placing eighth.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Seven Lakes HS (Katy, Texas) where he competed for the Spartans under head coach Marvin Rathke...school record holder in six events...qualified for Region meet three years in a row in pole vault...qualified for Regional finals in 200m in 2018...senior season stats: 200m (21.38), 400m (49.68), 4x100 (39.80), 4x200 (1:23.42), pole vault (15'9")...career best stats: long jump (21'10), 4x400m (3:18.89)...also played soccer under head coach James Kreuger...graduated with a 4.4 GPA.
