2013-2014: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Reached the championship final of two events, and scored in three overall, at the C-USA meet to help Owls claim the program[apos]s third league title in four years... Finished eighth in the 400-individual medley... Best 400-IM of the year was a 4:24.60 from the fall... Went on to place tenth in the C-USA[apos]s 200-breaststroke after a career-best 2:17.94 in the fall that is one of the Top 10 marks in school history... Was 17th in the C-USA[apos]s 200-IM after a season-best 2:05.77 in the morning prelims... Contributed to the team in a host of other events throughout the year, including a season-best 1:05.76 in the 100-breaststroke and a 5:00.77 in the 500-free in the annual Quad Meet. 2012-2013: C-USA Academic Honor Roll; Scored 31 points in three events at the C-USA Championships to help the Owls win the second league title in the program[apos]s history... Finished sixth in the C-USA[apos]s 400-yard individual medley with a career-best time of 4:21.37... Placed seventh in the league[apos]s 200-breaststroke with a career-best 2:18.01... Scored for the Blue & Gray with an eleventh place finish in the 500-freestyle on the strength of a career-best 4:54.33... Was named the C-USA Swimmer of the Week on Oct. 30 after winning three individual events to pace the squad on the final day of competition at the Rice Invitational (a win over 17 other competitors in the 400-IM, led a 1-2 Rice finish in the 100-breaststroke with Lilly Marrow, followed by a victory in the 200-breaststroke over 16 other entries)... Notched the best marks by any Owl at home in the Competition Pool in the 400-IM (4:24.77) and 200-breaststroke (2:19.79) in the season-opening dual meet against Kansas. 2011- 2012: Earned Rice University[apos]s Kathryn Scholl True Blue Spirit Award as the Owls[apos] swimmer with the best enthusiasm and positive attitude at meets and during daily practice; C-USA Academic Honor Roll; Reached the championship finals of the 200-breaststroke at the C-USA meet where she swam a season-best 2:20.27 to finish eighth overall with the Owls[apos] second-best mark of the season... Swam both individual medley events at conference, finishing tenth in the 200 (2:05.26) as the Owls claimed five of the league[apos]s top ten spots... Placed eleventh in the 400-IM with a season-best 4:27.30 as the Blue & Gray took five of the first eleven places... Scored a total of 24 points at the C-USA Championships in first year of Division I swimming... Contributed on a host of relay events throughout the year... Showed her versatility by swimming a 5:07.61 in the 500-free at the Phill Hansel Invitational in the fall. High School - A 2011 graduate of Redwood High School in Corte Madera, Calif.... Personal - Full name: Madison Paige Livingston. Born: June 15, 1993, in Greenbrae, Calif. Parents: George and Susan Livingston of Kentfield, Calif. (one brother, one sister). A highly athletic and academic family includes her father, a former varsity rower at the University of California; her sister (Emily Livingston) is on the track & field team at Princeton; and two uncles (Michael and Cleave Livingston) were on the rowing team at Harvard. Chose to attend Rice over Columbia and UC San Diego. Volunteers community service time at a local hospital. Rice College: Wiess
