American Announces 2026-27 Men’s Basketball Conference Opponents

HOUSTON — The American Conference has announced the men's basketball league schedule pairings for the 2026-27 season.
The league schedule will consist of 18 games. Teams will play six of its 12 conference opponents twice and the other six once – three at home and three on the road.
Rice will face six teams twice – East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, North Texas, Temple, UTSA, and Tulane.
The Owls will host UAB, Tulsa, and Wichita State while traveling to Charlotte, Memphis, and South Florida.
The complete 2026-27 men's basketball composite schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date. Conference play begins Wednesday, December 30, 2026, and runs through Sunday, March 7, 2027.
