TAMPA, Fla. — Rice's Brayden Sharp struck out 11 in relief, but South Florida got a first inning run, and Michael Senay made it hold up, as USF evened the series, 2-0, Saturday afternoon.
South Florida (19-4, 1-1) grabbed the lead in the first inning. After the first two batters reached, Nathan Early hit a sacrifice fly to bring in Ryan Pruitt.
