HOUSTON – The Rice men's cross country team continues their 2025 campaign on Friday morning at Oklahoma State's Cowboy Jamboree. The men's 8k race is scheduled to begin at 8:50 a.m.

The Owls are coming off a great showing at the 49^th annual Rice Invitational, with Gus Gannon claiming the individual title to pace Rice to also winning the team title.

Four Owls finished in the top five of the race, with Jackson Moran right behind in second. Andrew Murray secured a fourth-place finish while Ben Tijerina was close behind finishing fifth.

In the USTFCCCA regional polls, Rice moved up two spots to eighth in the rankings.
