
American Announces 2025-26 Men’s Basketball Conference Opponents

HOUSTON — The American Conference has announced the men's basketball league schedule pairings for the 2025-26 season.
The league schedule will consist of 18 games. Teams will play six of its 12 conference opponents twice and the other six once – three at home and three on the road.
Rice will face six teams twice – Charlotte, East Carolina, North Texas, Temple, UTSA, and Tulsa.
The Owls will host Florida Atlantic, Memphis, and South Florida while traveling to UAB, Tulane, and Wichita State.
The complete 2025-26 men's basketball composite schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date. The first play date for league play is Tuesday, December 30, 2025 with the final day of league play taking place on Sunday, March 8, 2025.
