Ennis Named American Honorable Mention

IRVING – After a record-breaking weekend, Rice women's basketball senior guard Dominique Ennis was named American Conference Honorable Mention, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Ennis powered the Owls to a 2-0 week, featuring wins over Sam Houston and UNLV. Ennis broke the all-time Rice three-point record in a 20-point performance, with six three-pointers, against the Lady Rebels. She added a 13-point showing in the team's win over Sam Houston.
On the week, Ennis averaged 16.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game. She shot 12-of-28 (43%) from the floor and 9-of-17 (53%) from three-point range.
The Owls (7-3) wrap up their homestand Friday morning against UT Arlington.
