Owls and Mean Green to Meet on ESPNU

IRVING – The American Conference has announced the broadcast schedule for the Rice women's basketball team's 2025-26 season, featuring a nationally televised matchup with the Mean Green.
For a third consecutive season, Rice will welcome a conference foe to Tudor Fieldhouse on the national stage, with the Feb. 10 matchup with North Texas being shown on ESPNU. The rest of Rice's American Conference schedule will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
Rice's home matchups with South Florida the previous two seasons have been broadcasted on ESPNU and ESPN2.
The Owls were selected third in the 2025-26 American Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, while North Texas was slotted sixth.
Three Rice athletes received preseason recognition with Dominique Ennis leading the way on the Preseason All-Conference First Team, with Aniah Alexis and Victoria Flores landing on the Preseason All-Conference Second Team.
The Owls will open the new season on Nov. 7 on the road at South Dakota State.
