HOUSTON - Rice women's tennis will host Incarnate Word for a Saturday afternoon match at the George R. Brown Tennis Center. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Rice comes into the match with a 2-0 record, most recently taking down Lamar on Thursday afternoon. Rice used a second 7-0 sweep to earn the win, with Nithesa Selvaraj earning the clinching point in that match. UIW comes in with a 0-0 record, with this match being the Cardinals' season opener.

It is the first time the programs are meeting on the courts.

This is the second of eight-straight matches for Rice. After this match, Rice will remain home to take on Arizona, TCU, and Houston to round out the next two weeks of action.
