Quincy Olivari Signs Exhibit 10 Contract with Los Angeles Lakers

HOUSTON — Former Rice men's basketball player Quincy Oliviari has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Los Angeles Lakers for the NBA Summer League.
Olivari played for the Owls from 2019-22. In his senior season, he led the team and was third in Conference USA in scoring with 18.7 points per game. He was also third in C-USA with 94 three-pointers and in minutes played (33.6), sixth in field goal percentage (.413), ninth in free throw percentage (.793), and 11th in rebounding (5.9). The 94 three-pointers are the second-most in a season in school history and his 654 points are the fifth-most in a season in school history.
A two-time All-Conference USA honoree, Olivari finished his career as Rice's then-school record holder with 252 career three-pointers and 10th with 1,487 career points. He's also one of 19 players with at least 1,000 career points and 500 rebounds. He scored 30 points five times in his career, including a career-high 35 against Houston Baptist on Dec. 15, 2020.
