Honolulu, O'ahu: Hawai'i exploded for seven runs in the first inning and never looked back, taking a 12-1 win on Sunday at Les Murakami Stadium.
The Details: The Rainbow Warriors sent 10 men to the plate in their opening inning and seven of them scored. Trey Duffield's opposite-field home run with two outs in the second, the first of his career, cut the lead to 7-1, but despite an additional nine hits, the Owls were held to a single tally. Hawai'i added two in the fifth and three in the eighth as the 'Bows scored their most runs and had their largest margin of victory in the 49-game series history between the schools.
