Five Men’s Basketball Games Selected for National Television

HOUSTON — The American Athletic Conference has announced its broadcast schedule and game times for the upcoming men's basketball season, Wednesday afternoon.
Four games will be nationally televised on ESPNU with another slated for either ESPN2 or ESPNU.
Rice will have back-to-back games on ESPNU, beginning on Jan. 8 at North Texas (8 p.m.). They will then return home to face Temple at 1 p.m. on Jan. 11.
The Owls will face Tulane on ESPNU on Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. Three days later (Jan. 28), they will travel to Tampa, Fla., to face South Florida (6 p.m.) on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.
Rice's final ESPNU game will be Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. against in-state foe North Texas.
The Owls' remaining AAC games will all be streamed by ESPN+, beginning with two straight at Tulsa on Jan. 1 and against Charlotte on Jan. 4. Both games will tip-off at 2 p.m.
Rice will have two more games on ESPN+; Jan. 14 versus UTSA (7 p.m.) and Jan. 19 at Florida Atlantic (12 p.m.).
The Owls begin February with three straight games on the platform, beginning Feb. 2 against Memphis (2 p.m.), followed by road games at East Carolina (Feb. 5 – 6 p.m.) and Charlotte (Feb. 8 – 3 p.m.).
Rice will close out its season with six straight games on ESPN+; Feb. 15 at Tulane (11 a.m.), home games against UAB (Feb. 19 – 7 p.m.) and Tulsa (Feb. 22 – 2 p.m.), road games at Memphis (Feb. 26 – 7 p.m.) and UTSA (Mar. 2 – 5 p.m.) and its regular season finale versus Wichita State (Mar. 6 – 7 p.m.).

The 2025 American Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Championship will take place March 12-16 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. All games of the championship will be televised on the ESPN family of networks.
Rice opens the season on Nov. 5 against FIU at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
