Orav Paces Owls on First Day of Houston Invitational

Wins in both singles and doubles
The Lede: Saara Orav picked up wins in singles and doubles to lead Rice on Friday's first day of the Houston Invitational at the Barbara Wallace Winston Tennis Facility. In addition to Rice and host Houston, the three-day event also features Air Force and UTA.
The Details: Friday's opening day of action featured two sets of doubles and set of singles and Orav raced to a straight-set win in singles and then combined with freshman Anushka Ashar for win in doubles. Ashar came back to team with Chie Kezuka to pick up Rice's second doubles win of the afternoon.
