Men’s Hoops to Face a Trio of Postseason Teams in Ball Dawgs Classic

HOUSTON — The Rice men's basketball team will face a trio of 2022-23 postseason teams in the inaugural Ball Dawgs Classic, Nov. 21-24, in Henderson, Nev.
Rice opens the tournament against fellow CBI participant Indiana State on Nov. 21 at 5:30 p.m. CT. The Sycamores were 23-13 last year and participated in the CBI.
The following day, the Owls will face NIT participant New Mexico at approximately 8:45 p.m. The Lobos finished last year 22-12.
Rice closes the tournament on Nov. 24 when it faces Big West regular season champion UC-Irvine at 3:15 p.m. The Anteaters went 23-12 and participated in the NIT.
