
American Announces Men’s Basketball Conference Opponents

HOUSTON — The American Athletic Conference has announced the men's basketball league schedule pairings for the 2023-24 season.
Every team in The American will play 18 league games, including five of its 13 conference opponents twice and the other eight once – four at home and four on the road.
Rice will host Charlotte, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, North Texas, South Florida, SMU, Temple, Tulsa and UTSA. The Owls will travel to UAB, Charlotte, Memphis, South Florida, Temple, Tulane, Tulsa, UTSA and Wichita State.
The complete 2023-24 men's basketball composite schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date. The first conference play dates will be January, 2-4, 2024 and will run through March 10. The 2024 American Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Championship will expand to a 14-team tournament and be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, March 13-17.
