Rice to Face UTSA in C-USA Tournament

HOUSTON — Rice is the six seed in next week's Conference USA Tournament presented by TotalCare, to be played at the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas, the league office announced Saturday evening.
The Owls (17-14) will face 11th-seed UTSA (10-21) in the first round on Wednesday, Mar. 8 at 8:30 p.m., on ESPN+. The teams split the series with each team winning on the other's home floor.
This is will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams in the Conference USA Tournament.
Rice is 9-16 all-time in the C-USA Tournament. The Owls are 3-7 in the tournament against this year's field.
