• Rice enters Saturday's home tilt with a 2-5 record after defeating UT-Martin, 98-78, on Thursday.
• The Owls are led by fifth-year senior guard Travis Evee, who is scoring 16.9 points per game, good for fourth in the American Athletic Conference. He's adding 3.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.4 steals. He's also second in the AAC in free throw percentage, connecting on 90.9% from the charity stripe.
