Postgame Reaction - Head Coach Lindsay Edmonds
"Today was about toughness. We challenged them after the [game] Thursday night to come out and play with desperation to get a win. I thought the third and fourth quarters were so big for us. We could have been hanging our heads because we were a little down and [UAB] started out hot in the third quarter, but we just found a spark and just kept going and were tough. We kept battling and we found a way to get a win on the road. I thought India Bellamy was huge for us with her post presence and posting up, they really had no answer for her. Jazzy coming off the bench was unbelievable on both sides of the ball. Defensively she was slowing down DeShields, who is a great player, and offensively she was the spark that we needed. Again, great overall team win and everybody did some great things. We showed resiliency to bounce back and get a win on the road after dropping one on Thursday."
