In Brief: Rice hosts 19th ranked Middle Tennessee at George R. Brown Tennis Center on Sunday at a 11 a.m. as pair of a combined match with the Rice women, who are hosting Tulane.

The Owls: Rice are 9-9 after splitting a pair of road matches earlier in the week. They blanked Richmond 7-0 on Monday and dropped a 4-0 decision to 60th ranked ODU on Wednesday.
Middle Tennessee: Middle Tennessee comes to GRBTC with a 19-3 record and a 13-match winning streak after edging SMU 4-3 on Friday in Dallas. They have defeated six ranked teams during their streak, including wins over Tulane, Arizona, and Princeton on the way to winning the Blue-Gray National Tennis Classic. The Blue Raiders lead the series with Rice 7-5, thanks to wins in the last four meetings.
