Botran Opens Fall Season at ITA All-American Championships

TULSA - Rice men's tennis opened the 2026 fall season Saturday at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Sophomore Rafael Botran competed in the prequalifying draw, falling to Clemson's Marko Mesarovic, 6-3, 6-2. Botran will return to action Sunday in the consolation draw, with the match time to be determined.
Petro Kuzmenok plans to compete in the singles main draw starting on Wednesday.
