19 games at night, 15 during the day
Start times for the 2022 Rice baseball season have been finalized, with the Owls set for 19 games under the lights and 15 games during the day as part of a 34-game home slate.
The most extensive home schedule in the history of Reckling Park opens on Friday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. when the Lamar Cardinals open a three-game series. All Friday and weekday games are scheduled for 6:30 other than the home contest with Texas A&M on March 22 which is set for a 7 p.m. first pitch.
The middle game of the opening series with Lamar on Saturday, February 26 will be the first of seven Saturday single games that are scheduled for 2 p.m. Rice and Harvard will play a doubleheader on Saturday, March 5, with the first game starting at 1 p.m.
The finale of the opening weekend with Lamar will start at 1 p.m. as will the Sunday games with Texas Tech (March 13), UTSA (April 17), and WKU (May 1). Sunday games with Harvard (March 6), UAB (March 20), and Middle Tennesse (May 14) are set for noon first pitches while the final game of the FAU series on April 3 is set for 12:30 p.m.

Owls fans will get their first chance to meet the '22 Owls on Saturday when the annual Fan Fest kicks off at 11 a.m. at Reckling Park.
