Men’s Basketball Opens Homestand with East Division Leader Old Dominion

• Rice enters Thursday night's contest with a 10-6 record. The Owls are 3-2 in Conference USA after defeating Marshall, 87-77, last Saturday.
• Guard Carl Pierre leads the team and is sixth in the conference with 15.3 points per game while pulling down 4.4 rebounds per game. He leads C-USA in three-pointers made per game (3.1) and is second in field goal percentage (49.2%) and three-point field goal percentage (43.8%).
• Guard Travis Evee is second on the team and seventh in C-USA with 15.3 points per game while adding 3.4 rebounds per game and 2.8 assists per game. Evee leads the league in three-point field goal percentage (44.7%), is third in three-pointers made per game (2.9) and seventh in free throw percentage (85.1%). He's also connecting on 50.3% from the field.
• Guard Chris Mullins is scoring 9.9 points per game while placing third on the team with 2.7 assists per game.
• Sophomore Quincy Olivari is averaging 9.1 points per game and is second on the team with 4.9 rebounds per game.
• Forward Max Fiedler is averaging 8.8 points per game and is third in the conference with 8.3 rebounds per game. He leads the team in field goal percentage, connecting on 58.2% from the field and assists per game (3.4). He's also third in the conference with four double-doubles and ninth in blocks (1.1).
• Rice is averaging 77.3 points per game, which is third in Conference USA while allowing 74.4.

• Forward Kalu Ezikpe is second on the team with 11.8 points per game. He is fifth in the league with 1.5 blocks per game eighth with 6.9 rebounds.
• Forward Austin Trice is third on the team with 10.8 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per game.
• Guard Jaylin Hunter is averaging 9.8 points. He is fifth in C-USA in assists (4.5) and sixth in steals (1.8).
• Guard Mekhi Long is scoring 8.4 points per game while leading the team and placing sixth in the conference with 7.1 rebounds per game.
• Old Dominion is averaging 66.9 points per game while allowing just 66.3.
• The Monarchs are connecting on 43.2% from the field but just 29.5% from three. They are allowing 42.0% from the floor and 34.1% from beyond the arc.
