Men’s Basketball Season Opener against Pepperdine Picked up By ESPN+

HOUSTON — Rice men's basketball's season opener against CBI Champion Pepperdine next Tuesday, Nov. 9, has been picked up by ESPN+. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Rice will now have nine games on the platform and sixteen games overall that will be broadcast during the 2021-22 season.

The men's team returns 10 letterwinners and all five starters from last year's squad that went 15-13 and reached the quarterfinals of the Conference USA Tournament, including Third Team All-Conference USA member Quincy Olivari and C-USA Newcomer of the Year Travis Evee. Rice also welcomes a strong recruiting class that is expected to contribute right away.
