Men’s Basketball Welcomes Texas State to Tudor Fieldhouse

HOUSTON — After a four-game road trip, Rice will play inside the friendly confines of Tudor Fieldhouse in four of the next five games, beginning this Tuesday, Nov. 30 against Texas State. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be streamed at CUSAtv.

• Rice enters Tuesday night's game with a 4-3 record after falling to Fordham, 84-74, last Wednesday in the third place game of the Gulf Coast Showcase.
• Guard Travis Evee leads the Owls and is eighth in Conference USA with 16.1 points per game while adding 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Evee is second in C-USA with 3.3 three-pointers per game, is third in three-point field goal percentage (43.4%) and sixth in field goal percentage (50.0%).
• Guard Carl Pierre is second on the team with 15.4 points per game and is pulling down 2.7 rebounds per game. He is fourth in the league in minutes played (34.2), fifth in both three-pointers made per game (3.0) three-point field goal percentage (42.9%) and is seventh in field goal percentage (48.0%).
• Guard Chris Mullins is scoring 12.0 points per game. He's 10th in the conference with 4.0 assists per game and an 81.5% free throw percentage.
• Forward Max Fiedler is averaging nearly a double-double with 11.6 points per game and 9.7 boards per game, which is second C-USA. He also leads the team in field goal percentage, connecting on 63.5% from the field and is second with 3.7 assists per game. He's also tied for second in the conference with three double-doubles.

• Texas State enters Tuesday night's contest with a 4-2 record. The Bobcats are on a three-game winning streak after defeating LeTourneau, 92-47, last Wednesday.
• Guard Caleb Asberry is sixth in the Sun Belt Conference in scoring, averaging 15.5 points per game. He is also second in the league in three-point field goal percentage (46.9%), third in free throw percentage (84.2%) and three-pointers made per game (2.5) and fourth in field goal percentage (49.2%).
• Guard Mason Harrell and forward Isiah Small are tied for second on the team with 10.5 points apiece. Harrell leads the SBC in free throw percentage, connecting on 90.5% while Small is fourth in rebounds per game (7.3).
• Texas State is scoring 75.3 points per game while allowing just 67.7.
• The Bobcats are second in the conference in field goal percentage, connecting on 48.6% while hitting 36.2% from three. They are allowing 42.6% from the floor and 36.8% from beyond the arc.
