HOUSTON – Friday's home basketball game between Rice and Texas Southern has been canceled due to COVID-19 related issues within the Tigers' program.
The Owls and Tigers were set to play for the 21st time in program history.
The Owls, out to a 3-0 start and coming off a win at Texas Tech, are currently scheduled to host the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns next Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. from Tudor Fieldhouse.
