The Lede: Diae El Jardi and Priya Niezgoda picked up wins in singles and doubles to close out play in the Rice Invitational on Sunday at the George R. Brown Tennis Center.
The Details: Sunday's play featured a second round of doubles in addition to championship matches in singles flights 2 through 8 while other players were paired in extra matches to accommodate team travel schedules. Rice's Anna Bowtell dropped a 6-3, 6-3 decision to Auburn's Yu Chen.
