Anastasia Smirnova advances to All-American Singles Main Draw
The Lede: Anastasia Smirnova continued her torrid pace at the 2019 Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma, winning her fifth consecutive match to earn a spot in the singles main draw which begins play on Wednesday.
The Details: Anastasia Smirnova defeated Vanessa Wong of Washington in straight sets and will face VCU's Paola Delgado in the opening round of the main draw at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Michaela Haet, who qualified for the main draw, opens play on Wednesday morning against fifth seeded Sara Daavettila of North Carolina. Victoria Smirnova closed out her action in the tournament with a first round loss in the consolation bracket.
