The Lede: Campbell Salmon won a pair of tiebreakers to highlight three wins in singles by Rice on the chilly opening day of action at the Texas ITA Men's Regional Championship in Waco, Texas on Friday.

The Details: Campbell and Kei Breitbach battled evenly through 12 games in both sets, but the sophomore from Melbourne, Australia captured the first tiebreaker 7-5 and the second 7-2 to move on to the Round of 64. Wes Barnett and Mohamed Abdel-Aziz also picked up opening wins while Jacob Eskeland, Karol Paluch and fourth-seeded Sumit Sarkar all advanced with first round byes.
