The Lede: Mohamed Abdel Aziz picked up a win in the consolation round to close out action for the Owls on the final day of their annual invitational at the George R. Brown Tennis Center on Sunday.

The Details: Abdel Aziz won in straight sets over Solano Caffarena of UTA. Wes Barnett fell in the B flight singles to Texas A&M's Guido Marson, but the Owls other singles matches were defaulted due to injuries as a precaution in advance of next week's ITA Texas Regional.
