The Lead: Eric Rutledge closed out play for Rice at the 2018 ITA Texas Regional by falling in straight sets in the singles consolation semifinals on Monday at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco.
The Details: Rutledge dropped a 6-2, 6-1 decision to SMU's Gardiner Perotti on Monday.
