
Rutledge and Janglin Close out Weekend With Wins

Eric Rutledge and Oscar Janglin closed out play at Alabama' Jan Pallares (MEM), 6-2, 6-2 s Crimson Tide Four-In-The-Fall tournament in victorious fashion on Sunday at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility and the University of Alabama Tennis Stadium in Tuscaloosa on Sunday.
Playing in the Crimson Singles Flight, Rutledge dropped Jan Pallares of Memphis, 6-2, 6-2 to close out the weekend with a 2-2 record in singles. Janglin equaled that effort with a 6-3, 7-5 decision over Florida State's Chase Wood.
The Owls will be back in action next weekend when they host their annual Rice Invitational at the George R. Brown Tennis Center, September 29-October 1.
