Sunday Sweep Closes River Oaks Invite

The Rice women's tennis team closed out their fall campaign by posting an unbeaten record on the final day of the 2017 River Oaks Country Club Fall College Invitational in Houston on Sunday.
Rice opened play by taking all three doubles matches from Texas and then swept all six singles matches against North Texas. The Owls finished the weekend 7-2 in doubles and 16-2 in singles over the three days of competition.
Rice will return to competition on January 13 when they open play at the Florida Gulf Coast Quad.
