Owls Open Strong at LSU Invite

The Rice men's tennis team opened their final fall competition in strong fashion, winning nine of 14 opening matches at the LSU Fall Invitational at the LSU Tennis Complex in Baton Rouge on Friday.
The Owls captured four of seven doubles matches and then came back to take five of seven singles matches, including wins by Tommy Bennett, Jamie Malik, Emanuel Llamas and David Warren when each rallied after dropping the opening set.
Competition resumes on Saturday at 9 a.m.
