Owls Double Up on Doubles Wins

Rice's two entries in the qualifying doubles rounds of 2015 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships breezed to opening wins in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Tuesday.

Adam Gustafsson and David Warren rolled to a 6-4, 6-4 win over Jorge Escutia and Augustus Ge of New Mexico while Tommy Bennett and Jamie Malik raced past Ruben Blattner & Joakim Pinola of Hawaii-Manoa, 6-3, 6-3 in action held at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa.

Each team has advanced to the round of 32 and will be back on the court on Wednesday morning. Winners will advance to the round of 16, which will also be held on Wednesday.
